Debora Jhonson-Houston
FTD Master Designer, with 39+ years of experience. She trained 4 1/2 years with Dick McClure, a graduate of American Floral Art School in Chicago, IL. She won contest awards through F.T.D. , Teleflora and Micigan Floral Association and designed and commentated for F.T.D. and Teleflora. She has worked as a committee chairperson and on many committes for the annual Michigan Floral Association convention.
Our students are encouraged to go to the convention and work on committees for valuable experience. She designed for Nordlie in Warren, Michigan and Oswalts in Detroit. The Floral Career Academy was established in 1987 and has been inspiring creativity ever since!
